Forum and image files

I noticed that if you upload an series of images and post and then decide to delete one image, it seems to delete not the image that you chose. You therefore might as well delete all the images in your post and then re-upload. This is because you cannot count on the forum to delete the one you selected to delete. Has anyone else experienced this?
