Gen 8 male to gen 8 female clothes conversion?

Hello. I was looking to buy an outfit. It comes in both male and female versions. If I buy just one version and auto-fit it to the other sex, will there be significant issues? Would it be better to buy the female and fit to male, or buy the male and fit to female?

    Always better to buy male and fit to female in my experience. Usually it's uniforms and those don't need to look feminine so the fit doesn't matter as much.

    A problem exists with fitting female to male due to deforming of the clothing chest area as the male obviously doesn't have breasts. As FSMC says, M to F is the best option.

    There's no general rule for that. You obviously won't get as good a result as with an outfit custom made for both figures, and some outfits will work well, some won't.

    You should expect distortion in the chest area, since chest shape is different.
