das3d dimihelper exe

This exe keeps popping up when install manager is open and installing products. Nothing showing up regarding it on google. Wondering if it's malware.

That's normal, it's the installer for programs (like DS), plugins and stuff.
I guess I can check yes. It keeps popping up during the install regardless.
AFAIR it will pop up once (when the first program or plugin selected for installation is installed) during a DIM session. It should not pop up when installing content only (characters, clothing, hair, poses, shaders etc.).
Right, software, plug-ins, and soem shaders/scripts - anything that writes to protected locations like Program Files - requires that the isntaller runs with "elevated permissions". Content is better not installed with elevated permissions. To keep the two separate DIM uses a helper application, run with elevated permissions, to install/uninstall the former type of files while handling regular content, with standard permissions, itself. The helper should be signed, the UAC prompt should list Daz as the publisher.
