universal-horns deform when applied

Hello

I'm a returning novice to the 3D world and am currently learning the ropes in both Blender and DAZ.

I picked up the universal-horns-for-genesis-8-males-00-main-daz3d a while back but never used it, untill today, I've found that the Rams horns have a strange break in them, has anyone else found this? and if so is there a possible fix? or perhaps a setting I'm getting wrong.

thank you for your time.

Kind regards

They're being affected by the ear morph. Go to the parameters pane for the horns, turn on Show Hidden Properties in Preferences, and zero out the applied ear morphs.

That will be because of the head shape, I think - if you zero it the horns will be correct. If that is the issue then the only real fix, assuming you need to use the shape, is to create a custom morph - fixing the main break could probably be done fairly easily with a dFormer and weight map, since it looks to be a simple offset (probably where the horns have their first custom bone) but the stuff towards the tip may be harder to fix.
