Major DIM Frustration - Resolved (I hope)

I've been having this problem from day one. When I purchase an item (one or many) and I click on the 'Download and Install' button on the transaction complete page, it fires up DIM and lists all the items I purchased. Here's where things break down... Rarely, when I press Start Queue, it will download fine on the first time. however, more often than not, it will cycle through the entire list with Download Failed. When I click the check box to select all the items again and try to download, it will usually fail all over again. I can clear the filter bar with the sku's in it, but that doesn't do anything. If I press the Refresh at the top, the list clears. I can hit refresh until the cows come home, but the list will not repopulate... except for the rare time. Relogging into the DIM helps on rare occasions, I sometimes have to relog in to the Daz webpage itself and try to reinitiate it through the order section of my account page, but usually it will do the same thing. Fail. I can end up fighting with this for 10 minutes, or half an hour until it finally decides, on a refresh, that it will see the items and download them. This seems to be the issue when I use a credit card to purchase. I don't think I've had this issue when I use Paypal. I suspected that it was the system waiting for confirmation from the credit card company before it releases the queue, but wow... this is seriously frustrating.
Does any one have any insights on this weirdness? I was hoping to find a standard download option, but it seems you have to use DIM. I'm in the middle of a 20 minute fight right now to get something downloaded and I'm not feeling the love here.

Update: It's been over an hour now and it's still not letting me download. Nothing but Fail. I even stopped and restarted the DAZ Content Management Service hoping it would help, but nothing.

Don't see why it would matter what payment option you used. What security software are you using? It sounds more like something blocking the connection.
You can download manually from My Account > Product Library (in fact, you can even download from your Product Library and put the zip in your DIM downloads folder, then use DIM offline to install it).
I knew I had seen the option to download it manually somewhere! Thanks for that.
I'm running Avast Antivirus. I don't see why that would be stopping it as sometimes it downloads just fine (as I mentioned it seemed to be when I used Paypal), but more often than not, it would give me grief and take forever before it actually seemed to 'grab' the downloads.

It may be that Avast's heuristics are often reacting to DIM, but not always. See if you can whitelist DIM, or try turning off heuristics temporarily to test if that's what's causing the problem.
Manual install went good. I added the folder for DIM to the exclusion list in Avast and tried a new purchase and download. It went first try. Hopefully that resolves the issues I've been having.
