Add the supported morphs to M3 and the suit should morph also.

What do you mean - that the suit doesn't follow the pose? Or that there are no textures and morphs to make M3 into a Santa figure? The set is just the suit - you need to make your own morph, or find a character that will provide it for you.

I mean that there is no way to morph Michael 3 to become Santa .... ;-(
I think I should find a morph script somewere as it said in the description of the product ... I do have M3 and The Santa Suit ...
but still is not as simple as it probably should be ... and moreover where do I get the beard ? ....
Sorry but I just can't see how to ... do it ... Unlike other outfit and morphs that are pretty easy to do ;-D

If someone can help me with some practical pieces of advice I'll be very grateful

    Thank You :-D

The clothing has a Santa moprh, it says, so try selecting the clothes and see if they have a morph you can dial up (leaving the M3 shape underneath unchanged).

You might need the Michael 3 body morphs, which is separate.

It does. I pulled my copy out and it doesn't need M3 to assume the Santa shape, It even works after being autof-fit to Genesis, though it gets a bit blocky in the shoulder area. I do have to say that the Santa for D3 suit (not to be confused with the D3 Santa suit) seems to have held up to the test of time better.

Regarding your question about where to get the hair and beard, there used to be a product called "Santa Hair and Beard". I purchased it in August 2011, but it no longer appears in the store, likely because it was quite dated. I got it at a steep discount, and I expect it was "vaulted" afterward. While it is likely no longer up to present day standards, I did pull it out for a render, but given its limits regarding posing and such, I can see why DAZ didn't make it available. However, I think it would be a nice freebie at this time of year as it still would allow for "background Santa" renders.

Actually, Santa Hair and Beard is still in the store as part of the Holiday Havoc bundle, along with several santa suits and a large number of other holiday oriented items, many now available only in that pack. (For really old bundles like that you sometimes have to read the descriptions, as there may not be picture links to products that are otherwise shelved.)

As to where to get the beard... Mec4d has a spectacular set for Genesis that includes a full fibermesh santa beard. That's easily the best Sanata on the market right now. Elsewhere, MOst-Digital Creations has a full Santa M3 set that includes a beard for about $5, and there are a couple of santa beards over at rendo that come with various characters like Tempesta3d's Senile Santa series for M4, while Arduino had a full Santa in their freebies section for non-com use.

Good tip Cybersox...I actually looked at the Holiday Havoc bundle before posting, but as you noted, erred in only looking at the picture links. Your alternative beard locations is appreciated both by me, and I expect by the original poster who likely isn't looking to spend $70 to get an outdated beard.

I actually picked up the HH Bundle in one of the 80% off sales and it seems to pop up in those fairly often. It's certainly not something I'd buy for $70 without a specifc use in mind, but when it dropped to under $15, there are more than enough random things in it to make it a no-brainer.

Thank you very much everyone :-) It seems that some " research" is in order ..... it's a pity that I can't get the M3 santa suit to work ... ;-) may be it's just " too old " to work with studio 4.7 or simply I do not have enough skill .... so far I couldn't find any "means" to start up the morphing :-/ .... but I'll follow some advice I've read :-) thanx

I do not have the suit so I can only guess at possible issues/problems. The suit may be what is known as a super-conformer, meaning that the suit will automatically conform to the the figure's pose and any of its matching body morphs that the suit contains. Often in super-conformers the morphs are hidden since they adjust with the figures morphs. The folks that do have the suit and say they can see the morphs probably have Show Hidden checked in the Parameters pane options box.

Have you tried this almost realistic Santa Suit? The Poser 6 version is even more realistic on the cuffs.

Just for the records .... the Santa Suit works perfectly only in POSER :D I have version 2014 pro and is really " OK"
but I definitely could not make the scripts to work in Daz studio 4.7 :-D

Have a very good Christmas :-D
