previously a Poser user so I'm a bit confused

I loaded genesis 8 female, then went to the base textures, and under iray clicked on one of the darker skin tones but every time I do it only applies to face, arms, and legs. torso is still the same texture

what am i doing wrong here?

i was using 8.1 textures on 8 my bad
