Save animation in Animate?

I made an animation and have it up in Animate, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to save the animation for future use. See the attached capture. Obviously I succeeded twice in the past, but I just cannot figure it out again. How can I save the "mw16sani" so it will show up down where the 2 other saved animations are?

  • Thanks, HOWEVER, in mine there is no save button... see the attached capture. There is a delete button, but no save button. There is a blank space next to the trash can where the save buttons should be. I don't get it.

    Did you purchase AniMate2?

If not, wait for one of these to go on sale ;-)

In my version you right click the aniblock itself and save from there. It looks like you're looking for a save menu button ... did you try right click?

Oh yeah, I clicked everything in every which way.

I thought it might be that the Animate Lite that comes with DAZ does not have the save function...but I'm not sure how I successfully saved the two animation at the bottom of the screen I posted. In any case, I managed to render the animation as a series of images last night, so at least I'll be able to use this one by itself.

I will buy Animate 2 when I can.

    Thanks

That's it then. Daz Studio comes with Animate Lite BUT for the first 30 days or so the Full edition is working. Temptation ;-) After the trial period one has to purchase AniMate 2 for all the features. I mention they go on sale periodically because right now, and usually again in October there is a HUGE sale wherein many items even end up as PC+ for a day, selling for a few dollars. This product has certainly aged enough to qualify for said sale.

After purchase a serial key will be in your Account, that is entered because the plugin in the "Help, About Plugins" field [inside Daz Studio].

Poser will cost a bunch, but it's far better for animating.  I caught a sale for $80, don't know current price, probably $200-300.

Not trying to start a Poser vs. DAZ war.  I'm aware DAZ is superior in some other regards.
