A question out of curiosity because I'm getting it, regardless:  Are the spinning props MATs or done in post?

No post processing are done for the popup pictures because I want to  show what you can get with these in Daz Studio. There are two nodes, one for running propellers and one for propeller standby. you can select them in the scene menu. Both are textured. For animation, the propellers can twist both.

I've had Steel Bird for a bit but hadn't used it (or else I would have known about the running propeller node  )

 

The iray textures render beautifully; my old PC rendered these in less than an hour per
