Something changed in the last few days when browsing the store

Something changed in the last few days when browsing the store. When I hit the back button on my browser.
I have my filters sorted and am 80 pages or some odd number into the results.
If I hit my browser back button it goes here instead of the previous page. I have to start all over again.
It used to be that you could use the browser back button. Guess, they got rid of that feature. I also used
to avoid having to click 20 times to move ahead by just typing page 20 in the url bar. Perhaps for some
reason they decided to hide this ability? I think this is the crux of the issue. current and past page no
longer appear in the url bar.

I've noticed that too. I have resorted to ight click and open in a new tab.
They have added this instead, which I think is better:

It doesn't look like that on the PC.
What doesn't look like what?
On the PC, the pager doesn't look like what you posted. It looks the same as before, but without the ability to jump to a given page, other than the shown page numbers.

Like Rakuda, I used to use the ability to type a page number in the URL bar. Unlike Toaz, I don't have a dropdown slection menu for pages on my Windows 10 PC. I tried three browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox).
It's a screenshot from a PC, Windows 8.1, Firefox ?
What other pages are there than the numbered ones?
I see the same pager in Edge in Windows 10, just smaller.
I was just going to ask in the forum if anyone else was seeing the same thing. It is a bit annoying.
Attached is what it looks like at the bottom of my Windows 10 PC in Chrome. Same thing in Edge.
So I can't go to a specific page except the slow way.
Do you mean you can't open in a new tab from the pager?
BTW, you can edit the link in the address bar, you just have to go to another page than page 1 first (it works the same way on Renderosity).
Here's a shot from Firefox, Windows 8.1:
Let's see if I can attach an image. Forum's acting up for me a lot today.
This is what I see—PC, Win 8.1, Chrome:
I can jump to pages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 306. I can't jump to any page that is not specifically listed in the pager, like page 20 or 100.
Oh, you're talking about the SEARCH page. Okay. I was talking about every other page, like the main store page, artist stores, etc. Okay, it works in the search, but not anywhere else.

Ah, OK, thought it was the Search page that was being discussed, sorry...
But this seems to work on the other pages, just add "/?p=[page number]" to the url, e.g.:
https://www.daz3d.com/shop/?p=4
Brilliant! This (/?p=desired) seems to work everywhere on the store.
I noticed this yesterday using Chrome on Windows 10. Different parts of the store were behaving differently. When I selected various offer pages on some of them the back button took me back to the first page, on some I went back to the page I came from, on one the back button was disabled when I clicked on an item. I wondered if Daz were experimenting with different HTML formats to see which one they liked best. Also, for a few weeks now some of the offer pages open in a new tab when you left click them and some don't.
I just tried again and today the back button is taking me back to the first page on all the offers.
The address bar used to display that little bit of info, but not any more...
Also, I've noticed the cart options on some purchased products shows a conflicting status. If a particular product is in more than one bundle, and I have purchased one of them, it shows the Purchased and Available at the same time (when browsing a list, but not the individual product page). Only seems to happen with two bundles. Kayo 8, shown, is in four bundles...
Looked a little more, and it seems to be random products that I have bought that are not necessarily in multiple bundles, but those seem more likely to show the conflict.
I had a similar issue with an item being both in the cart and not (according to the catalog page and wishlist page icons).
Yeah, I don't see it like you anymore. I used to.
No matter what way I sort, or what page I am on, this is what I see now.
The changed way is really annoying from my poiny of view.
Schroedinger's item!
Sorry, couldn't resist!
By the way, Ati, thank you SO MUCH for Daz Deals!
Yeah, that Schroedingers Cart thingy struck me, too. :D
Yeah, it becoming a trend among a lot of places, it's more a "dynamically reload the existing page" as the trend. At least one of the 3D Printing file sites also does this, and it's probably related to mobile use, where you technically don't have the forward and back buttons on the simple interface, but instead on the drop down. It cuts down on the number of steps to go back somewhere, but breaks the old desktop browser paradigm pretty badly.
Yes this "internal browsing" is really annoying, everytime you take a look at an item from a selection on another page than page one you're taken back to the first page.
And I'm sure my store browsing will decrease if they keep it like this...
/?p=[page number]
does not work with the product library. Drives me mad to have to click through hundreds of pages if I search for something I don't know the name.
I discovered yesterday that while the /?p=[page number] works on the store page, it comes with its quirks too. Attached is a series of screen captures:
