Yes it happens all the time, be careful, if you do click on it it will put it in your cart and you can buy it again ;) 

These days I get logged out almost every day for some silly reason, and if you do not notice that you can put things you already bought in the cart also, when later login it's still in your cart and you can "buy" it even if you already have it.

Same kind of sanity check in the checkout would be nice, if you already own something don't let you buy it again....
