ok that's from the song Naughty Naughty from the band Danger Danger, kinda thought appropiate for some big daz news, as you all know for a long time now daz hasn't released starter and/or pro bundle versions on new character releases but instead released these different kinds of bundles and personally not sure but in the past if you wanted the anatomical elements - naughty lower parts you had to buy own at least one pro bundles for the ladies and one for the guys. Well with the releases of these various gender fluid characters and the ability to make males females with parts and vice versa plus with the release of Catty 8.1 or more specificly their second bundle has changed things up in that daz is now offering you to buy the gens for $1 each finally so for those that have never bought a g8 pro bundle you can now get the gens hopefully they offer the previous generations gens to buy seperately too soon for those that don't have them the links go to opoopisie pages at moment but once store settled should be good to go

There is something a bit odd in the sale page thumbnail. I have never seen a 'downloadable' indicator next to an 'add to cart' button before.
When going to the sale page, it says the expected 'Purchased' statement, but it all hints at oddities going on behind the scenes.

I have seen this on a few items in the last week. Mostly on freebies that I have already purchased. But in the sales thread, I know someone said they had put an unowned item in the cart and got something similar, only for them, the item didn't show in the cart. It was weird.
I'm fairly certain those should not be live in the shop, since it says in the notes at the bottom of the page:

Shucks, missed it. Got all bummed out. Then I checked my archives and realized that at long last I already have all the naughty bits I need. Picked them up over the years as deep deep sales on "Pro" packages. Forgot I had 'em. I guess I need to play with my naughty bits more often.
So are these available or not? I don't get paid till tomorrow and I'm getting page not available again. What is going on?
What is going on? I'll hedge a guess, based on years of observation that some of the night shoppers get to have special deals not available to the public masses for reasons never mentioned OR historically this store has um, challenges with its selection for sales software OR golly, some staff meetings must be treasures - to be a fly on the wall as they say lol ...
AFAIK the genitals are "never" sold out of the Pro or other special bundles which have been made in lieu of Pro bundles. They would need their own hidden page in order to be addable to these various packages [I would think, I do not have the codes on these pages]. I decided to get some sleep last night so missed out on this too [however I don't need them, I have them already] as well apparently as missing out on something about free 8 Pro bundles. Earlier today everytime I try to check the store pages, it's "old" pages and site down pages ... forum went too.
The anatomical elements were made available for direct purchase in error, while trying to resolve a reported oddity - this has now been corrected.
Finally DAZ did something that makes sense and it turns out to be a mistake. I think "corrected" is probably the wrong word here.

If you really have a use or need for quality gens, the third party options are the way to go.
I would love to be a fly on that wall as well and what 8 pro bundles were free, this is the first time I'm hearing it?

Ya I know about those bits and their fantastical extra's and addons. What's even better, you don't have to buy a bundle that possibly contains things you don't want in order to get those bits.
G8 Pro bundles are given away fairly often as perks when buying a new bundle. I got one just a day or two ago when Catty 8.1's bundle came with a free G2 or G3 bundle...but Daz accidentally included a number of G8 bundles in the selection.
I don't think that I am the only one here who does not buy bundles. Well, almost never - the only bundles I have ever bought have been seriously discounted (at least by 80%). The third-party "elements" do the job just fine.
The 3rd party add ons are great, but I just recently switched to G8 and there are some free G8 morphs for the female gens from Daz over at Sharecg. I will definitely still get Meipe's stuff for G8F at some point (already have the one for G8M) but in the meantime, this will be great.
The Daz naughty bits have their benefits, as do the third party naughty bits. Even with the third party bits, I still use Daz's naughty bits for some purposes. They look good if, for instance, you want an unclothed person wandering around a temple with a sword.
For close-up gynecological shots? Then third party bits do better.
For male dangly bits? When you add Male-M3dia's various HD morphs for the dangly bits (in THIS store LOL), then you get something much more interesting than the base rod and balls. Sure, you won't get the same kind of swollen veiny python snek like third party dangly bits, but you can still get a very attractive (and large/girthy/whatever) anatomical snek bit with just the Daz gens.
I've been using them here to get more a realistic shape under clothing such as with out of touch's intimates for genesis 3 and 8 males products using the morphs they cover shape that area well and more realistic with the ladies got morphs to shape that area if need be but I've also done nudes of both. Lot of vendors give you the textures for the gens youjust need the actual parts from at least one pro bundle well at least for the males unless you don't have the morphs. I was happy daz was offering these for sale outside pro bundles for those that don't have any and couldn't afford or wanted to go that way and at one stage the price dropped in further to 63c think it was such a pity they changed their mind, it's like if you have horse 2 and everything else in the pro bundle except those extra textures of which you can only get via buying the pro bundle.
It's like they want to give you the option buy the items twice. Cool feature, huh? Only thing I can guess is that this is a workaround for something - can't imagine what, though.
I bought several G8 Pro bundles years ago so don't need either product but both the anatomical elements are still showing up as purchaseable here:
