I need a lot of help converting custom G3M morph to G8M

I have a character I have created back when K4 came out.  It is a combination of K4, M4.  Thereare some G1, G2M morphs in there as well, but it has been so long, that I don't remember how many, or which ones.. I have converted this character to the newest figure to come out.  First to G1, then from G1 to G2M, and finally from G2M to G3M.  I have tweeked it between each conversion.  Now, whenever I try to convert it to G8M, something always goes wrong.  I have tried every way to convert it with no success at all.  When I use Xtransfer, I get an error that then clears my scene and closes Xtransfer. I was wondering, if it doesn't violate any rules or the EULA, could someone convert it for me if I send them the morph, and paid them?  Again, I don't want to do anything that is agaist the rules here.

What might be going 'wrong' is that these 2 figures are in very different poses at default positions.

You can make clothing out of the BASE mesh [no eyelashes on G8M] of G8M for G3M BUT first pose G8M to match the "T" of G3M. Then export out that .obj file. On G3M make the clothing piece. G3M is also to be at base resolution. Then pose G3M to match the "A" of G8M. Also dial in the morph you want to transfer over. HIDE all figures except the "clothing" - export that out [NO groups] Clear the scene, load in a fresh G8M, base resolution, no eyelashes - use Morph Loader Pro to bring in the morphed clothing figure .obj file and make the morph. Hopefully I didn't miss any major steps and this works. Finish as per usual.

Are you moving just 1 morph for the character, or many? Bear in mind that if you are using standard body morphs, you are better off using the equivalent G8 ones, as these will then trigger the JCM correction morphs needed when you pose the figure.

Also does your morph change the base figures size significantly?, ie make it bigger or smaller. If so you are better off using a combination of a morph plus scaling, rather than just the morph. Again this should improve the posing of the character once it is transferred to G8.

I've worked out the work flow for making a G3M morph travel to G8M. It'll be coming out in a .pdf tutorial after I finished editing the images and gluing it together -- see my post in the freebies thread -- snag those pose presets. You will need to pose each figure to the other. This is not a hard thing to learn - just one has to pay attention to many details along the way.

I have tried Sickleyield's tutorial several times as well as Xtransfer and Character converter.  As for the morphs, I am using countless morphs that I have for G1, G2M, and G3M, as well as K4, and M4.  As to which, I'm afraid thee are so many I have no idea which ones, or what percentages.  I have made a single morph slider for my G3M version of this character.  I have just recently discoveredthat I have a semi successful conversion of the morph.  The issue is in the armpits (please see attached image).  I know what the sissue is, because it's in the converted version for G3M.  It's the arm corrective for JoeQuick's Classic Duckie for G3M.  I can correct it for G3M by going to Hidden/Corrctives/Toon Duckie and setting the jcm_duckie_leftshoulderbend_83, and jcm_duckie_rightshoulderbend_83 to 0.  But I can't find it with the G8M version.

I think you'll like my tutorial. Hopefully it'll be ready sometime over the weekend.

If you correct the issue in G3M, then transfer the corrected morph to G8, it will look better.
