The Kids 4 Morphs not INJECTING nothing. why?

This is kind of the same problem i was having with M4. I installed him in my poser format. And he would load and everything but nothing got injected in to him even though i would click the INJ morphs++

I solved that problem by reinstalling M4 using the DS version instead of the PS version.

But now 'm having problem with the Kids 4. Installed the poser format version. and load the character, INJ the morphs and nothing happens.
I can't really do what i was doing with M4 because there is no DS installer for that product , although there is an Install manager version. I guess that one will work actually.


Anyways, can anyone tell me if installing via the Install Manager is the only solution because install manager will install in DS format?
And if so , how do i backup my product of that install manager files, an external drive?

with the manual install files it's easy. you just click them and a pop up window lets you save as zip file.

    The DS installer for M4 would have given you neither a figure nor morphs - the morphs, textures, geometry and figure files are only in the Poser install. Where are your \Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ\Michael 4 and \Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ\The Kids 4 folders?

    Well what i meant is that i deleted all my M4 which i instaleled manually to the POser 6 folder. And i reinstalled using the Install Manager which installs it in the Daz studio folder.

    currently i'm gonna try to do the same for kids 4.
    But it's confusing. i tell you.

    Before for other products i would just easily install them in the Poser 6 Runtime folder and they would work.
    But with Michael 4 and now the Kids...something is not working. So i'm forced to use the install manager instead of doinng it manually.
    The zip files don't even include the old style installer application that they used to provide.

    And the bad thing is that for backup, sure I backup the zip files but since we have problems installing manually( M4 and Kids 4) and we need the install manager and an internet connection to install, then it's uselesss to have backup zip files.

    Ok I did it. See! I removed all the kids 4 and now i reinstalled via the Install manager( for which i need internet connection) and it worked perfectly. now the character appears when i browse DS format directory within DS. and i just click it and it offers me a pop up asking me if i want to include the MOrphs++ and Morphs base and i say yes. and boom! that's it. perfect.

    So that's simple. But how would i install this if i were to instal manually with the zip files i saved to my computer for backup?

    You don't need internet connection to use DIM - just pop the zip in the downloads folder and DIM should see it and be able to install it. If you do want to unpack manually, just unzip and place the stuff in the extracted Content folder (not the Content folder itself) in the root (not a sub-folder) of the content directory you want to use.

    What Operating System are you using and where is your Poser 6 Runtime?

    While I'm here looking at this (because I'm having the same issues), how do you remove the Kids 4 "modesty panel"? It looks so silly with some of the K4 outfits such as the swimmers and so on.

    I can't recall if there's an All Natural preset for the kids - if so it will be in the Kids 4>Materials>Sample res folder or something like that, and will apply skin (but no detail - none of the kid textures will have nipples or other details). otherwise use a different texture set.
