Camera translation/rotation preset?

I have a camera view that I want to apply to a camera in another (similar) scene but I can't find an option to save those parameters as a preset. Am I missing something obvious?
By parameters I mean the X/Y/Z translation and rotation sliders.I'm doing it the manual way at the moment - writing down those numbers and typing them into the other scene with that camera selected.

If you save the camera as Scene Subset, you can load it to another scene as it is.
You can save a camera preset and load it into the other scene. Thing is, it will add a new camera, but that might not be a bad thing. (I think it will replace existing cameras, so use Ctrl key modifier when applying it to get the load options).
Alternatively, you can select the camera in the source scene and go to the Parameters tab. Select the Camera and right-click. Go to Copy -> Copy Selected Items... (or Ctrl-C).
Load the target scene without using Ctrl-C or any other copy commands, and select the target camera. Back in the Parameters tab, select the Camera, and right-click Paste -> Paste to Selected Items... (everything) or Paste Pose to Selected Items... (Transforms only, won't change focal distance or other camera settings).
OK thanks - a couple of things to try there. I was avoiding saving a Scene Subset because I save all my scenes as subsets and it gets confusing. But I wasn't aware that I could load a scene subset with just a camera. TBH I rarely have scenes with more than the default camera (which loads automatically) and the Perspective. I should really get into the habit of using multiple cameras.
