V4 to G2F Transfer of loincloth - need some help

I am looking for a way to transfer V4 clothing that is swinging infront of the legs or behind them, so basically stuff that is like some kind of a loincloth.

The FirePrincess for V4 might be a good example. I would like to transfer it to G2F, and exclude the lower cloth and its rigging from the autofitting. Or restore it after that process if that is somehow possible.

Is there any chance for this to work or do I have to mess with the whole outfit and create additional bones myself and attach these to movement morphs?

Yes, that is what you will have to do with clothing that has flowy bits like the one you posted. Though not so much movement morphs as weight maps.

But there are a set of tutorials that I can't say enough good about that helped me out immensely with exactly this.

It's a lot of work but once you get the hang of it, you can convert any clothing model you might find.

Thanks alot for posting these. Fits the bill perfectly and will also help me to finally correct the sword scabbards on the Fantasy Ranger from Xurge ;)

This also works great for hair with ponytails that only have movement morphs and not joints for posing.

Also, once you get the hang of weight mapping, you can use weight map influence with d-formers. Which is far superior to using that screwy field.

Sickle's Dress Rigging for G2F available here at Daz can help with that sort of thing. I've even used it to fix some capes.
