    I purchased carrara several years ago; back in 2008 tried it out for a year and never used it again, just couldnt get the hang of it.

    Horses for Courses - I found Carrara to be the easiest 3D program to learn, with Bryce a close second.

    While I have sidetracked to use Blender as a modeller due to all of it's bells and whistles, my initial attempts at learning Blender was met with much frustration.

    Carrara is still my number one favourite program !

    Took a break from Blender and downloaded a heap of stuff from SketchFab and Fab. Got lots of goodies to render now.

    this always puzzles me too, I had the opposite experience with D|S3 being confusing and lacking a manual

    D|S4 was better and has improved immensly over the years, but still no manual 

    Carrara, Poser and most other software I use have manuals which I read
