How do we search?

What it says on the tin. When I search for topics on the forums, I get frustrated because the standard I've learned don't seem to apply here. How do I specify parameters like "exact phrase" or "includes all of these words" or "exclude results that have this word"? Is there a tutorial or FAQ or pinned post that has this information?

    The search function in the Daz Forums is, basically, useless. To amplify what PerttiA said, you will get better results using goggle advanced search with Site: https://www.daz3d.com/forums. The google crawlers do index this forum.
