How to add custom dirt/blood stains to characres.

I want ro render aftermath of a liqud splash like this:

 

So i need something, that can cover both clothes and skin with stains. Ofcource I want stain on clothes mathch to the stains on character. I tryed to do this with L.I.E, but it's too hard and takes too much time. I heard that PTF Grungy Threads can do this, but have no idea how.
