How Exactly do you set the Paths and Organize so that DS 4.7 shows your stuff?

My DS 4.7 has trouble showing showing stuff when i browse the tree . i don't know how to call it....
but this thing. ( In the picture i'll post).

I also don't even know where to install things when they are DS stuff. When they are just poser format, i shove them into my Poser 6 folder. but when it's a product for DS i just don't know because i have 2 places for DS stuff.
1. Documents/Daz3d/Studio/My LIbrary
2. Users/Shared/My DAZ 3D Libary - DAZ 4.7 created this path automatically instead of using the one above. DAZ 3 usually just used the one above...but now with DAZ 4.7 i have two paths for DS format.

Anyways, so i get a product like Perfect V4( to fix bends etc in v4) and it comes in zip file

A folder is created XandM_PerfectV4Complete_DAZ_147087
Inside of it 2 folders: DOcumentation and Runtime.

So now i really don't know where to Install it? Cause i have a Runtime in number 1 above and i have a runtime in 2 above

*******
I'm not sure if my Documents/Daz3D/Studio/My LIbrary is disorganized and it has more things than it should or things in the wrong place. Cause this are the folders in it:
aniBlocks, data, Dreamlight, Lights, People, Poses, Prop, ReadMe's, Runtime, Scenes,
Scripts, Shaders, Texture Templates, Uninstallers.
**Inside Runtime i have folders: geometries, Libraries, Support, Textures
And inside that Libraries folder i have: character, Materials

Inside my Mac's Users/Shared folder is where My Daz 3D Library folder is these folders:
Camera Presets, data, Daz Studio, Environemnts, general, InstallManagerFileRegister.json(this is a file),
Light Presets, People, Props, ReadMe's, Runtime, Scene Builder, Scenes, Scripts, Shader Presets,

And inside that Runtime there's !DAZ, Character, Hair, Light, Materials, Pose, Props
*****note, when i browse the DIrectory within DAZ Studio that Runtime doesn't even show up and I can't get to the
Pose folder at all because of that.

So if i Have a Product that comes in a Runtime/Libraries/Poses/ , i can put that product's files there but it won't matter cause
DS 4.7 doesn't even show them in the directory tree. I'll post a pictures of what i see in My DAZ 3D Library tree listing and you
see there is no Runtime or anyway to get to the Pose directory of that folder.

********Finaly I like to say I have a Poser 6 directory which is where I have most of my products because usually it's easier to install in Poser format( really) so i have always just installed things there. and i used to use Poser so that's why i have it. In the mac Applications folder.

And finaly i'll show my settings for the Content Directory manager.

ANd basically what i want to know is:
When i install a DS format product by hand( Some products don't have installers) where should i put all the files and Why do they not appear in the Directory tree in DS 4.7 sometimes.
And also why don't i have access to the Runtime folder within the Directory tree . it doesn't even appear .

Ok guys i successfully installed a DS product but it took me a while to know how. Because like i said there is no Runtime and Libriary folder access within DS directory tree.....

ANd so if the product you bought unzips as a folder containing a Runtime product and you install in Runtime...then DS will never show it to you.

So what i did was instead of installing in Runtime/Libraries/Poses like the product tells me to, in my DS 4.7 Users/Shared/MyDAZ3dLibrary/People/Victoria4/Poses.

That's weird that i have to do that. it's weird that DS doesn't show me the RUntime folder inside DS Directory tree listing.
Anyways, i guess usually you have to install Characters and Poses in that People/ folder.

Ok It's not working. The product has
files like INJ All fixes,,,, and INJ Fixes, but only INJ Fixes appears and not the others.

Uner Poser formats you will see the folders in the \Runtime\Libraries folders named Camera, Character (listed as Figures), Face (Expressions), Hair, Hand, Light, Materials, Pose, Props, and Scene. Any other folders in the Libraries folder, and any folders in the Runtime folder, do not appear. This is just as in Poser. You need to merge the Runtime from the zip with the Runtime in the Poser Format content directory that holds the Victoria 4 files (you can't split them across directories, though you can have multiple Poser Format directories in general).

The My DAZ 3d Library folder in your shared documents is for the Install Manager - if you don't use that you could just remove it. In general you don't want to manually install to the directory used by DIM as that can lead to confusion if a file is both manually installed and installed by DIM (if you tell DIM to uninstall the product it will remove the file, probably breaking the manually installed item) though that isn't always possible - as with morph expansions for the fourth generation figures where, as I said above, they must all be in the same directory.

Thank you for the explanation. I hope i can organize my directories. It's so confusing.
You said that. If i don't use install manager, i don't need The My DAZ 3D Library folder. Well i did install alot of things with DIM , and so the My DAZ 3d library folder does have characters and content. So i shouldn't delete it right?

I noticed the product i bought was for DS but it had all the PZ2 corresponding Poser format files. So i sucesfuly installed and now i can see all the icons :) In the DS tree.

However, there is a graphic that i click and it's supposed to open up a window to Create a new character and it doesn't work. Yet it was working when previously i installed the product( PErfect V4 )in the MY DAZ 3D Library folder.

So do you think i should keep the DS format files in the My DAZ 3D library but also have the PZ2 ones in the POser 6 directory ?
Or Can DS format scripts also go in the POser 6 directory?

cause the folder has these files:

Do you see it has the Create perfect V4.dsa and also Create perfect V4.pz2.
If the PZ2 version needs Poser for python scripting..then that's why it's not working for me.

So can i still use the DSA version? How would i install this product. Where do i instal it to? To my Poser 6 Runtime?

    Basically
    1. It has both DSA and PZ2 files in the same folder..But i need to use the DSA for Create Perfect V4 .

If you look at the folder in the DS Content Library pane there should be a scroll on the corner of the thumbnail - that indicates that there's a DS script, and DS will run that when you double-click instead of loading the Poser file. If it isn't working check the log file (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log) for errors (open the log look at the end immediately after running the script).

I fixed it. I had to install the product in both the Documents/DAZ3D/My LIbraries and in the Poser6 directories.
That's cause the Poser 6 Create PerfectV4 doesn't work in my DAZ. But the DAZ version of Create PErfect V4 does work. So i came up with that trick and it worked.
