Issue with Export mdd from Daz to Blender (Figure with geograft) (SOLVED)

I'm trying to export mdd animation with geograft attached to figure from Daz to Blender. If geograft is disconnected or not visible, then the mdd animation exports fine, but as soon as geograft is visible, Blender has a mesh explosion.

In Daz tried turn on and turn off Remove Unused Vertices, Write Separate Objects - didn't help. In Blender tried Keep Vert Order option and without it - same explosion.

Does anyone know how to deal with this issue?

That does look like a vertex order issue, so I think it needs to be rproted to Daz support for checking.

  • The issue turned out to be the difference in vertex count. I imported model in blender and duplicated all geograft vertices. Now animation is working as it should. Seems like mdd export in Daz doing the same - duplicate geograft vertices.

  • What do you mean "I duplicated them"?  I have the same issue, with a different geo (nails).
