Editing Genesis expression morphs

Is there a way this can be done? Some of the morphs can be exaggerated simply by removing the limits but some can't. Can I, for example, edit the nose wrinkle? The V4 nose wrinkle is wonderful but the Genesis (not 2) wrinkle is awful. How can she make a "stinky smell" face without a good nose wrinkle? Just wondered if anyone has done it.

I am using Genesis to import into Maya. Genesis 2 comes over too resource heavy. The original Genesis imports perfectly with all it's blend shapes. I just want to help a few of them to get better facial expressions.

If you mean that removing the limits doesn't increase the range of effect, rather than that the morph doesn't look good, check that you are working with the actual morph and not a controller - click the gear on the moprh's slider, select Parameter Settings from the menu, and in the dialogue look to see what, if anything, is listed under the Sub-components tab.

The actual name starts with CTRL so it must be a controller. It also says that the type is Modifier/Pose. Under sub-components it says ERC [DeltaAdd] > Genesis Nose Wrinkle

Because I am not familiar with these kinds of details, what does this mean?

It means that the parameter is a master switch, the actual morph (probably hidden) is what does the work. Genesis means it's on the figure, not the head (as real morphs will be) and then Nose Wrinkle is the name. If you select Genesis, enable Show Hidden Parameters in the option menu for the pane (the lined button in the top corner) and type Wrinkle in the filter box you should find it and be able to edit it to allow a greater range of values.

Great info!! Now, I know how to create a morph but I don't know how to edit one. Can you give me some direction there?

Well, I just meant edit the settings such as adjusting or removing the limits.

But, on that Nose Wrinkle, adjusting or removing the limits does nothing. That's why I wanted to edit the morph. The nose doesn't wrinkle, it just moves up a little. The morph itself needs help. That's why I wanted to know how to go in and fix the morph.

Were there other morphs in the subcomponents? Or are you just wanting a whole new morph?

As I said above, in the subcomponent box, it says: ERC [DeltaAdd] > Genesis Nose Wrinkle

I want to edit the one that is in there if possible. I have asked this several times above. Am I not saying it correctly or being clear? Is there a different way for me to explain what I need?

Take the limits off the nose wrinkle morph located under pose control. Works for me.

I tried it and the nose doesn't wrinkle. The forehead is wrinkling really nice but the nose isn't doing anything. V4 has a wonderful wrinkle and I wanted to make it look at least similar. I am getting really frustrated so I will probably just go make a new morph.

Well that is the only nose wrinkle there is on Genesis. If you have GenX you can transfer the V4 morph over to Genesis.

I thought you were wanting a more extreme version of the existing morph, not that the basic morphed shape wasn't the direction you wanted to go in.

GENX....BRILLIANT!!! I didn't realize that it would transfer expression morphs! I will try that this evening!
