Why the Skin in my Renders doesn't look like the SKin in the Promos?

My Skin looks plastic and yet in the promos, their skin looks realistic. Why?

I'm using 3DDelight in the default settings. here's some pictures. The promos, and then my renders. You see my renders look very plastically. Even if i use 3 point lighting. In the Promos the legs have this redish spots that make it look realistic. In mine, those don't pop up .

I understand i'm not using best Render settings and all that, but still the skin texture should be visible. I don't see it in the body almost nothing. I can see it kinda in the face but in the body , it mostly looks plastic.

And no, selecting SKIN in the Surface tab preferences doesn't help

What am I doing wrong?

I've had other textures before where they did render nicely even in fast 3DDelight renders but many don't including the new ones i got:

"VH Haily" ( the one in the picture i showed above) at renderosity.

How do i make them pop out and look like skin even in basic 3DDelight default settings renders?

Update!! guys. I noticed in the Bump settings also, no Textures were chosen even though the Product does come with bump textures. so i put them on and then i set the settings...

I set the Bump strenth to 13.6%
and the Negative to -0.17 and Positive to 0.21

Are these settings good for human skin?

I guess I would like to know what are good bump settings. I've been trying experimenting but i dont know

It looks crap because your using Poser materials in Studio, DS can only read the Poser 4 settings in a Poser material file, and even then it can't read all of it.

This product was only designed for use in Poser as it doesn't come with any DS files, it can still be used but your going to have to learn how to set up your own surfaces in DS.
