Common Runtime for DS and Poser questions.

I want to put all my Stonemason items in one dedicated runtime.
But a number of his items have files that are for DS4.6/DS4.7, DS legacy, and Poser. Apparently from what I have read, often both DS and Poser files are required.
Could I put all files in, for example, a DS runtime and have it used by Poser, or all files in a Poser runtime, and have it used by DS 4.7?
If there are better ways to do this please point me in the right direction.
Thanks.

You can put all of your files in one runtime directory and just point both applications toward that directory. All of my runtimes are set up this way.
Thanks... I thought that was the case.
And just to check..... a recent file for DS4.7... can that also be put in the same runtime? Poser or DS runtime?
Which do you use ?
Sincere thanks.
Sorry if I am very dense in understanding..... :)

If it's a content file (figure, morph, etc...), yes. I have 16 external runtimes, all shared between Poser and DS, all with files for both programs.
