cut one object with respect to another

I'm very new to Hexagon. I've been slowly and patiently working my way through the Geek at Play tutorials - currently working on the "robot." So . . . a question. How do I cut off the protruding spokes? I.e. I assume there is a way to cut the spokes (marked in red) where they stick out from the wheel . . . ??

Edge-Tools are your friend. Grab on edge, loop it, move it inside your weel. Select the polygons, that stuck outside the weel and simply delete them.
