Varsel has issued the 15th Carrara challenge. This time we need to look 500 years in the future.

What is happening on this day :

Make a picture that tells a story about what’s going to happen on that day.

Visit the WIP thread to get all the rules, but you essentially just need to customize at least 2 items in Carrara, which you can do by modeling, or by reworking the textures, or by applying Carrara hair, or... and rendering the result in Carrara or one of the render engines with a Carrara plugin

There is a sale on tutorials in the Daz store at the time of this post. Now is a great time to pick up a Carrara tutorial series by PhilW or a Carrara vertex modeling tutorial by Mmoir and enter the Carrara monthly challenge. With the sale, Mmoir's modeling tutorial is only about five dollars or so. The PhilW series have many hours of video covering everything from Carrara lighting and the realistic sky to modeling in the spline modeler to uvmapping to pursuing photo realism. PhilW's series are usually more expensive because they are so comprehensive, but can now be had at a deep discount.

It looks like there is a sale on Carrara 8.5 Pro at the time of this posting. Great opportunity to get involved in the challenge.

Voting rules
As simple as possible….

Voting is open to anyone with a DAZ 3D account.

Each person may vote for up to three entries.

Votes are per entry.
If an artist has two images you wish to vote for, you may use a vote for each one, leaving you with one remaining vote to cast.

Anonymous votes will be accepted with good cause.
Please PM me (Varsel) if you think you need to vote anonymously. An example would be if a forum moderator or admin wishes to vote without giving an appearance of favouritism. There may be other issues as well.
Anonymous votes for the challenge host will not be accepted. But that doesn’t matter anyway because the host can’t win anything anyway….

An artist may place in the top three, plus HM (Honorable Mention) only once.
If an artist has enough votes to place more than once, the entry with the most votes will be the one that is placed, and the entry with the next highest votes will be moved up.
