How do I save a character?

Hello, I'm new to Daz3D and I'm planning on making a few characters. I've tried stuff out and have ideas for them, but I don't know how to save a character. I don't want to save a scene or a render or anything like that, I want to save a character. A single person without background and all that so I can tweak them and put them in scenes when they're finished.

"Save as Character Preset" to save the morphs and materials, "Save as Wearable" to save the hair and clothing.

You can also use Scene Subset and just include the things you want - when you double-click a Scene Subset it will be merged with the current scene.

I have long used Scene Subset for characters, fully dressed.  I have come to think that this is a mistake, and that I should be saving their outfit(s) as Wearable and just storing the characters naked.  Hair, I'm not sure about.  I sometimes have characters with several alternative hair styles, all but one of them hidden.

Just save each hair as a Wearable.
