SSS maps

Some figures have SSS maps. How do I activate those maps? How do I know which model has those maps?

    The product page will say what kind of material presets are available -- some have both SSS and non-SSS material presets, others load with SSS.

    There are a number of material sets that have SSS but no color or strength maps, which is what the OP is asking. The lack of color maps (you could add the diffuse maps and set color to a pinkish hue) isn't as big a problem as the lack of strength maps, without strength maps the effect is less realistic. All you can try is putting the maps from another set with the same UV mapping into the appropriate slots and hope for the best.
