importing obj files

in Daz Studio Discussion

DS import options suggest obj files can be imported but my obj files (from several sources) are not slectable with import --> obj. I can import the obj files successfuly with Carrara but not DS. I use OSX 10.14 Mojave and DS 4.12.

Is it possible to import obj files?

    Obj files definitely can be imported in DS, that's the format most content creators use to import a mesh they created.

    Can you just drag it from the folder into viewport scene? But that's windows.
