You're sure it's a female hair? I've used the tail from the addon to Ancient Combat Hair for G2M on various other characers. It parents to the headokay, sometimes needs some adjustment after the charactet gets posed, but fine of r a still image.

Definitely looks female, going by the sides.

If it's from a third party site, I'm in a bit of a fix. I can only ever seem to get products from the Daz Studio site physically showing up in Daz Studio. so, I keep my asset purchases exclusively from here.
