    has sleeves though

If it has sleeves its not really similar then

  • Hiding sleeves is pretty simple, it may even already have surface groups that can be made transparent.

It's also not the right length and in general the only similarties the two dresses have is that there black

You can probably make one like this easily with the multi dress system: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-multi-dress-system-for-genesis-8-females. There's also an expansion available I believe. Have played with it, works well.

There's a Wednesday Addams clone in the Shop from the 3Delight days that might have what you need, but I don't remember the name or who it's by.

If you are interested in freebies there is an artist called Wilmap Wilmap's Digital Creations (wilmapsdigitalcreations.co.uk) who creates some wonderful everyday kind of clothing for the Genesis set of figures. I particularly like this dress G3F Princess Line Dress. It does however have a cap sleeve and a charming peter pan collar. Both of which you can hide. So if you don't like that dress Wilmap also has this dress where the cap is smaller but the skirt is a bit fuller. G2F Frilled Dress 2. I have seen these dresses converted to dforce and they look really good. Wilmap has a good sense of just how much cloth should be in the 3D model. Take a look around her site she has lots of clothing models there might be some other model that takes your fancy.

  • Wilmap does good stuff, and there's a chance one will fulfil your requirements.

It must be said that if you get really specific in your requirments, it's probable they won't be perfectly fulfilled, and the only way to get it exactly will be to model the items you want yourself. It may be worth getting familiar with modellers like Blender before you reach that point, so the learning curve is less when you feel the need to get exactly what you want down to the last detail.

    Regards,

    Richard.

I made this in MD and Blender.

Once I've finished it - just a test render to test what I have so far - I may put it on my Deviant Page.

It will be dforce only as I'm not interested in doing all the associated crap that is non-dforce.
