Essential Makeup not showing in renders?

I purchased the Essential Makeup for Genesis 8 Female and I have applied it to my G8 model, and it shows up fine in the viewport, but not in my iray renders. I was wondering if there is a tutorial for applying make up since it isn't working like I had expected. I see that the presets say layered so Im wondering if it's a tool or feature I am not aware of yet. thank you for any help or pointers!

    Looks like several users are having trouble using it.So would be best to keep the discussion over there so it's easier to find.

    There is a very minimal "instructions" set linked in that thread.

    Thank you! I read the post and the links from there and figured out my problem, it has to be rendered in iray.
