Particle Emitter - Animation of Fire & Smoke Demo in HD

Up to now, I had problems in Animations to add Fire and Smoke. So I am glad I could for the first time create an Animation with Fire and Smoke which looks very good, I think.
At the End of the Videos, you can also see sample stills, from a video I am currently working on. I first tried it in DAZ several months ago, but gave up as the smoke Emitter I found was not really usable for animation.

This Animation took only a few hours, to create and is rendered in iClone 6 Pro which is supporting Particle Emitter for Fire and also Smoke:

and this Animation took several days to render on an I7, I think the export of the Particles between iClone and Indigo RT has a very good quality:

Enjoy!

Thanks for videos, realillusion will surely send assasins for you because of them :) And while they're on their way some quick questions: do particles have ability to interact with objects in iClone ? Can thay collide with objects ? With other particles ? Can user handle collision event in some way like placing new emitter in the point of collision ? Can particles have trails (ribbons, generate new geometry while travelling their way) ?

    That look pretty good,
I found the Nerd 3d fire and smoke tool works very well in daz animations very belive able effect for daz.. i use the fire and smoke tool all the time. That is what I used to create effects in my latest Karate girl animation.
Daz use to have a great particle-FX tool But after daz changed its files formats to DUF instead allowing to continuing to us PZ &.DAZ script files it does not work anymore.:( it was really great tool for dragon fire and epic planetary explosions. I love to use it in everything i did. now days I still use the nerd 3d fire and smoke tool which does still work good in in Daz 4.7
Ive also been playing around with Adobe AfterEffect which has been fun trying to learn the tracking... But its not very good at effects that happen behind the characters, with out having to do a ton of extra steps to make it look believable.
I wish someone would fix the particle fx tool that was the best fx tool daz ever had.

    Thanks,
I was also using Nerd 3d's fire and smoke before, until I started to render my DAZ Videos with luxrender, than this stuff didn't work for me anymore. Would be cool if anyone would knew a way to use it with this renderengine. Now I am also not sure if in Animation the fire would render correctly as a lightsource as it does in my Video? Good to know your Experience with Aftereffect, I was also thinking before in this direktion, but I thought it could get complex.

What you need to do is look at what the iClone particle emitter actually does and find a similar way to do it in DAZ.
It has a series of events along the timeline where planes with transmapped images of flames increase and decrease in size as they emerge from an emiter block in a series.
You could set up a similar thing with puppeteer and a few planes setting dots for transforms and puppeteering the actions with your mouse.
It can be then saved as a support asset prop for reuse.

For colour change and visibility you can use a script by casual called matanim this can be puppeteered too.
