Genesis Compatability

Hi everyone,
I'm very much a newbie when it comes to Daz Studio, and my endeavors have been grounded mainly in Poser since I first discovered 3D art back in 2008. I still like Poser, mainly because of the amount of content I have in my Poser libraries, plus it's just plain familiar to me.
However, I recently downloaded the latest version of Daz Studio, and it contains Genesis 2 figures. Very nice!

But there is a lot of content available for both Genesis and Genesis 2 figures, and I'm wondering if Genesis 2 clothing items are backwards compatible; that is, can something made for Genesis 2 figures fit on the earlier Genesis figures.

Pardon me if this is more than a bit naive, but as I said, when it comes to Daz Studio, I know very little..... but I want to learn!!!

To fit Genesis 2 clothing on Genesis 1, you need:

Okay, so with that being said, since I have Genesis 2 characters in the latest version of Daz Studio, are the earlier Genesis figures available anywhere? Because some of the clothing I've seen is for them, and I'm not sure if the compatibility works in the other direction.

Further, is there a way to import and use Daz Studio figures, props, etc, in Poser?

Genesis Starter Essentials for the original Genesis is also in your account. Genesis 1 clothing can be autofit to Genesis 2 without needing anything extra.

To use them in Poser 9+ you need http://www.daz3d.com/dson-importer-for-poser which is also free.
