Small problem with inserting links in posts

Haven't noticed this behaviour before. But in recent days i notce that when i paste link into post, it somehow adds

to the end of it. So i have to use "switch to source" and manually remove it.

P.S. I'm using MS Edge, if that helps.

  • Are you using the link button in the top two lines of the 'Leave Comment' box to open a window where you can paste the link? If not, you'll almost always get an incorrect link. If you are, I'm stumped.

    That's a code for "non-breaking space."

Make sure that you don't have an extra space selected at the end of your copy and paste.

EDITed to try an add an example, but can't get the nbsp code to appear.

In most cases i just "ctrl+v" link that i get from other browser tab. I only ever use "link button" when i need to turn existing text into a link.

Maybe it's browser's problem after some update, i don't know. As it didn't happen to me before recently.

It's always been like that. It's jsut part of the coding and doesn't hurt anything. I know whenever I link anything I jsut use the Link function cause it's neater.
