Gallery Images not going to full resolution?

I thought I'd check to see if this is happening for everyone, if I'm doing something wrong, or my browser is misbehaving. I can't view (zoom) anything in the gallery to full resolution on the gallery page. The images will zoom to the maximum horizontal scale (pixels) on my browser window, but not any greater. I can right click on an image, open it in a new tab, an it will then zoom to full resolution. Unfortunately, there is no indication on the gallery image that you haven't zoomed to full resolution, so you would need to do this for every image to see if it's at full resolution or not. For example, the resolution of my last gallery post (here) is 3600x2520, but it will only zoom to the browser page with in the gallery (if I reduce the browser window size, maximum zoom size is also reduced). I've tried numerous images others have posted as well, and any that are over my browser page width will not zoom to full resolution
Hopefully it's just something I'm doing wrong (though it used to work properly for me), and not something DAZ has decided is a good thing. This definitely isn't ideal for anyone who is designing their images to be seen in high resolution, but can only be seen at the browser page width resolution. Probably not an issue for people with 4k monitors, but many people working on laptops don't even have HD monitors (1080p).

It's definitely how they coded the gallery. This link goes to the full size image.

Thanks! That's what I thought. I noticed it when all the "zoomed" images only opened to my browser window size, which at the time was less than my screen size (1080p) and all the images "fit" this odd size
.
IMHO this isn't the best way to display the great art your users are making.
I noticed this when the gallery first reopened. It was explained that they did this for the benefit of people using mobile devices, tablets, ipads, etc. so it was deliberate.
You can see the actual size by opening up a picture and then right click and open in a new tab and it will then have the actual size available there.
Interesting, I thought that I used to be able to directly zoom to full resolution on the gallery page since the changeover. I've encountered the limited size on mobile devices, but it was just over the past few weeks that I noticed it on the real computer.
I'm very used to the right click and open image in a new tab method when searching for creative commons images for presentations with Google searches, but I'm much less likely to right click on an image in the gallery here just in case it's significantly larger. Yet another reason why posting in the gallery here is a bit less attractive. I hope they do realize that they could determine the browser platform and serve the appropriate image size based on that. DA does this, and has multiple zoom levels on the desktop (first is to put full image in the browser window, second is to zoom it to window width, and if needed the third zoom/click will go to full resolution). This really seems like a short sighted decision to me. I would think that you would want to make it intuitive to see the full resolution image, not difficult.
Oh well, just another reason to focus on DA as my primary gallery, then post here when/if I get around to it.
I use Opera and it has been that way for a while with any image. It opens, click on the image and it fills the window then click on it again and it goes full size. That isn't just on this site it is on all sites even my own Gallery on my website.
