I have no idea how to contact authors of things like this.
But I'm looking into creating movies in Daz Studio.
The artist is Dreamlight. Or perhaps you can instruct me on how to contact the author?
The product page is here: http://www.daz3d.com/movie-maker-ds-4-6-edition
I would gladly lay down $30 if I know it will work in DAZ 4.7.

It's a collection background images, lights and cameras and does not appear to contain any 3d models whatsoever, I would expect it should work with DS 4.7
never mind, it says right on that page it is compatible with 4.7
Oh, duh. I completely missed that part due to my horrible keratoconus eyes.
Thanks for the help.
didn't see it either 'till I put on my reading glasses.
Am I allowed to post a new topic on exactly the same thing?
I need to find out who actually has it so they can tell me if I can import my own lights and characters with morphs into it.
And the author does not answer the one email I figured out.
Check this part out :
"Compatible Figures: No"
From the YouTube videos and mass complaints..
I'm beginning to believe this program only allows models he sells into the program.
Edit: I would love to be wrong about that though.
This refers to the fact that the product requires no figures for it to work. Such as clothing or shapes, which WOULD require specific figures to work as expected.
Edit: I would love to be wrong about that though.
The product is not figure dependent, but it helps you create the scene backgrounds that you can populate with figures from DAZ or, if you're a modeler, ones you make, albeit, they would need to be rigged to work in DAZ Studio. Does that help explain?
Movie Maker is just like a background set. You open the scene, add characters and such and animate them. The scene contains cameras and lights so you don't need to import lights. You can use any characters you wish. The background is already rendered so your rendering will be faster. Some limitations are limited scenes available and, the amount of space in the scene available for characters.

ps I believe you can create your own backgrounds, the author sells a tutorial, but I have no idea how difficult that is.
This how to tutorial book used to be free.
