Cloth Simulation on Genesis 8

Probably a dumb question, but I'm completely out of my depth.
Is it possible to simulate cloth in Blender and have it collide with a Genesis 8 model? I'm talking cloth as in e.g. a blanket, not as in clothes.
I'm new to Blender and feel quite lost; I have managed to make a simple cloth drape over a simple cube, but am specifically looking to do it on a Genesis model and then parent said cloth to it.
Unlike the cube, the Daz model does not have a "Collide" option under its "Physics" tab.

firstly make sure you are in object mode, then expand the genesis 8 model in the scene collection so you can see and select the genesis8.shape.
then under the physics tab or modifiers tab you should be able to add a collide modifier (and configure it in the physics tab)
Thanks!
You are in for a ride, my friend. It's going to take a lot of tinkering, but Blender usually produce relatively convincing results. Some problems are:

From Diffeo official blog there is article which talk about Deflection or Low poly version for simulation purpose . This remind me about low poly version for V4 or M4 in Poser Dynamic cloth/hair era
I`m not yet try that deflection technique since still have no idea how to work with dynamic stuff in blender , but maybe that useful for you
Other users have already provided great input, especially regarding the default cloth settings in Blender. One additional thing to take note of is that bad topology will absolutely wreck your cloth simulations. I know I spent a lot of time racking my brain trying to figure out why some clothes I imported from Daz did relatively ok, while others completed exploded.
