final image render size

I'd like to render to a final image size of 5x3 @ 300 dpi (or to easily reverse that to 3x5 @300 dpi)

I'm having these images printed to cards so I want the images to be this size.

In fact, I suppose I'm asking a more general question: How do I establish the final render size of my images?

enter 5*300 and 3*300 in the image size boxes in render Settings - with the Constrain Aspect button set to Off. The render won't have a PPI value, you can either palce the image and scale to fit the cards or you can use your image editor to set the PPI value with Resample off (or preserve image size or preserve file size on) so that the pixel count is not changed.

Hi Richard - where is the setting for that - I hit menu: settings and get the attached.

Change "Dimension Preset" to "Custom", set "Constrain Proportions" to "Off", and enter the desired dimensions.
