Tear Jerker the Ugly Crying Builder not working?

Everytime a load Tear Jerker the torso turns into a pure white, without any textures. For some reason it always the torso and only the torso. Doesn't matter if its a genesis 3 or genesis 8 model.

  • It's probably a shell thing? So I'm guessing all the other shell locations are "ON" by default when they should be "OFF". The shell overlay is broadcasting White over your model.

You're probably loading the G8.1 version onto G3/G8 (or vice versa). Some surface names were changed for G8.1, so geoshell presets won't know what to do with the changed surface names when loaded.

Where and how do I go about correcting this? In the surface tab?

I think that I'm loading the correct version. I'm using G8 models. And this occurs when I load "Tear Jerker" from my G8 library.

  • Under the Parameters when you select the "Shell" in your scene tab, there should be a huge list of Surfaces that apply to your model...

You can turn those OFF manually. (There's a visibility section... I forget what it's called. Maybe even "visibility", LOL.)

You can also go into the Surfaces tab for the Shell, select every Surface except the face (or whatever other area gets the tear marks)... then turn Opacity to 0%.

Are you using it from Content Library (People\Genesis 8 Female\...) or "Smart" Content?

Thank you! I tried your first solution and it worked!
