Do Car Poses Work For Other Cars?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I figured I might as well ask on the off chance I'm actually wrong in my assumption. For example, I was looking at the https://www.daz3d.com/z-pickup-truck-poses-for-genesis-8-and-81 and wondering if without making the models parent to the truck, could I thus just shift them over into a vehicle and edit individually to shape them correctly to that car instead? Also, if I only buy the poses and not the truck will the poses even be available? It does say it's required and it is this that makes me thing I won't be able to at least edit the poses into another vehicle.

    Because these are hierarchical poses, they probably won't work without the specific car. The poses get applied to the car and then auto-apply to the parented figure.

    non-hierarchical poses would be usable as you described.

    I was thinking about this as well- thanks for your explanation, Silent Winter. I'll have to check pose sets to make sure they're not hierarchical ones it I plan on using them with other props.
