I saw some shaders somewhere, that were metal with fake reflectioons (I assume to cut down on rendering time). How do I add fake reflections to something (is it with reflection maps?)
Some 3DL products had specific material settings with and without forced reflections, or added reflections. The base is usually just a square bitmap, so it could be recycled into any reflection map slot. Some examples of 3DL shader presets with the choice of forced or raytrace reflections are Advanced Metal Shaders , or Real Metals for DAZ Studio.
