long sleeve G3 jacket on G8 sleeves sagging off of figures arms when reload

Hi,

 

For some of my G3 clothing products whenever i put it on a G8 figure it fits onto the model fine at first.  But when i go to file > save as > scene and later on i go to reload the scene the clothes change to where the sleeves look like they are sagging way below the arms of the figure.  Am i doing something wrong when trying to fit the G3 clothes onto a G8 figure? or should i get one of those clothing conversion G3 > G8 products?
