Luoqu hair pins confusion

Judging from the promo images I was expecting the hair pins at least to be part of the package for Luoqu.

Luoqu for Genesis 8.1 Female | Daz 3D

One of the promos is just the hair pins. Another promo shows some other options for the hair too though that's less clear what was meant to be there. Not included in the 'What's Included and Features' nor any mention in the Documentation Center File List. Guess this is another product that has been split after the promos were done and the hair and pins will follow, or maybe I'm getting old and cynical.

Edit - This might not now make sense to people who are looking at the page post correction. The original page had 5 promos with the hair and hair pins being prominent. The page has since been updated after Richard raised a query.

    I hadn't noticed that. But I thought it odd that the pins were not linked to a hair product.

    Yeah, DAZ keeps splitting their character with hair combos, if it's a buyout (like with this one), and doesn't add new promos to show off just the hair or the character. DAZ is not helping this PA by messing up their promos this way. :/

    Yeah, give Daz two weeks or so and the hair will probably be released.

    The hair-related promos are being removed, unfortunately there aren't any other promos for the character so that will leave the page a little thin

    The last product promo pic shows the hair and the pins too and still suggest they are part of the product, even they aren't mentioned at the "Whats's included ..."  .

    You get the character for free if you buy 3 ore more "3D Hair" new releases - it would be a nice deal WITH the hair and the pins, without it's in my opinion just another Aiko-like manga character with not much difference to their competitors...

     Nobody will probably notice that, as the products of this PA usually only come with very few - and kinda non-informative - screenshots. Which is one of the reasons why I haven't bought any of them.

    The hair pins was my main draw, too.I looked at the character and the product page seemed unfinished, like it was an accidental release before the intended release. Apparently this is it??

    I have a few Ergou girls and really like their aesthetic. I hope the PA can develop better preview/promo details to better help us understand the product.

    It's not accidental. The PA only does "just enough" promo renders for their character/hair combo products. After all, these are intended to be used together. But when DAZ buys out the product, the split products now don't have enough promo renders. Pics that clearly show that only the character is being sold, or only the hair is being sold. While I have mixed feelings about these splits (often like the hair more than the character), I think DAZ should be prepared to make extra promo renders, since they own it now. Just like those buyout Base characters (like Kanade 8 and Sakura 8, that have a mix of original promo art and the stuff DAZ does in-house.) Or if they don't want to do the work themselves, they could always ask the PA to do more renders of only the character and only the hair when they submit it, just in case.

    Seems there's many different ways define "just enough"... for me it would mean, I get views of the figures from different angles, especially for the facial features... not getting these is a main reason for me not buying figures, because I don't like to be surprised when it turns out that the side-view of a figure looks utterly different than what the "frontal mugshots" in the promo hinted at..

    I think the general consensus is that the product was split and the hair (with pins etc) will be released at a later date.

    Not helpful, I wasn't looking for instructions on how to use a web browser.

    These two images taken of the product pages viewed in a browser I do not use for the daz web site (this means the pages are not in the browser's cache) were taken 2021-08-21 08:46Z and 08:47Z
