I Have a texturing Question. How do i make a texture for a prop using the textures from another set. In this instance I am creating a geograft for Daz Dragon 3 and I want it to be able to use the Daz Dragon 3 textures, like how Dariofish uses those same textures in his sets. All help would be appreciated.

You need to understand UV mapping.

I'm not sure if you really need to understand UV mapping, but you definitely need to UV map your geograft if you want it to be able texture it.  Whatever software you sculpted the geograft in probably has an automated UV Mapper, or two.  Like anything else, you'll get better results if you really do understand it.  If you're trying to use the textures from another model, like you're suggesting, and you want them to match up properly, then you're going to need to align the UV of your geograft  with the UV of the model you're borrowing textures from.  You're likely better off learning about UV mapping by following a tutorial to texture a really simple item first.  Without knowing what software you're using for modelling I can't direct you to a good tutorial, but there's tons of them out there for pretty much any software and pretty much any task.

I Know how to create uv's, And I have a little experience with Blender. My Modeler of choice ATM is Metasequoia, but I am trying to learn others. I guess what I am asking is, is there a way to assign UV's to particular sections of a texture? How would I "align" the UV? As I am learning Blender, I gues that is where I should start, but not sure where. And you are right about there being alot of tutorials out there so its tough knowing where to begin.

Until you master UV remapping it's not going to work very well. You can probably fudge it with a paint program realigning and rotating, scaling, stretching, sampling sections of one map onto another. Sometimes that's quicker then UV editing but is dirty.

Like Charles says above, I'm pretty sure there's no shortcut, and that you just have to either manually adjust the UV or the texture image.

Here is the video where I learned about UVs and UDIMs in Blender.  I'm sure you can find a video that's just about how to manually adjust UVs, but I have a link handy for this one, and if you want to get into seriously modding and retexturing any DAZ figures you really may as well learn how to set up UDIMs anyway.

He talks pretty fast and covers a huge ammount.  I had to slow it down and watch it over and over, but the information is all there.  He's focused mostly on UDIMs, but UVs are really just like individual UDIM tiles so the concepts are all the same.  He doesn't talk about geografts or shells at all that I remember.
