Forum Avatar Pictures-Silly Hypothosis-Let's Postem!

When I first started contributing to the Daz forums I noted a LOT of the replying and posting community members used what appeared to be... "dated" or silly looking avatars. Nothing wrong with that. Everybody has their own flavor. But it seemed such a consistent theme that I thought it almost a sort of "right of passage" in order to post. So I went to Walmart got a Halloween tiger helm and snapped a picture for mine. Since they are so small and off to the side I'd thought It would be fun If the community would post their avatar pictures for better viewing and if it has a little story to go with it. I thought it would be a fun thing to do and inspire the future community members to join in the fun too. Granted there is no real avatar specific theme but I always felt like there was an overall one in our community. What do you think?

    Just got around to giving myself a proper avatar. I mocked this up as an interim logo for my business, or perhaps more of a mascot.

    A lot of us found an avatar we like and see no reason to change it.

    I just found a cool emoji on a forum years ago and adopted it. been using it most places since.

    A current attempt at an avatar. I'm hiking behing the eight ball. If GIF was more widely accepted I'd animate the marquee lights.

    Basic pool table and ball is from the DAZ store. Search "billiard" though, not "pool".

    Edit: you have to work at getting the right composition/elements to work in the small space. Previous versions began with just a big ball and small balls - boring. And I usually try to have a Roman bust (marble statue) in my avatars... I liked how the two blue heads are heading in the direction of the yin-and-yang symbol.

    I like your costume party tiger personally. I nearly bought a pink panter costume party outfit myself, just for Halloween. I still might do so.
