Can't adjust render settings...?

Hi everyone, I'm extremely new to Daz and am having a hard time adjusting to the interface. I'm trying to increase the render resolution of my figure but I get this image instead of what everyone else gets. As you can see, the preview image of the render settings shows what I actually want to adjust, but double clicking the image generates a window that briefly says "pending asset". It disappears, then nothing happens. None of the tutorials I've seen online has their render settings like this, and it's starting to drive me crazy. I just want to render a high resolution image of my 3d model with a transparent background to use as a base for photobashing a character design in photoshop, and I can't start until this is figured out.

window > panes(Tabs) > render settings

 

edit: Actually now that I look at it again you have that pane open, up at the top above render settings you'll see some tabs, you're currently on presets, click the edit tab to show the settings you want to edit, resolution should then be under general
