Thalia for Coral 8 - gills issue

in The Commons
I just got this cute little mermaid, but am having an issue with her gills. There are gills on and off options, but both options leave the gills as white gashes(as if there is no skin shader applied). Is anyone else having that issue?

So the mermaid tail is a geograft, and so are the gills. Often when multiple geografts are used on the same figure this will happen. SInce those two geografts have been designed to be used together there is likely a script included labeled FIX GEOGRAFT or something similar. You may need to try it with either the tail, the gills, or the main figure selcted for it to work. If there's not you could try adding the tail and gills in the opposite order and that should clear it up. Otherwise, if none of that works, try copying the torso surface settings to the gills. I don't have that character, or the tail and gills, but all geografts function pretty much the same. If none of this helps, then hopefully someone who owns that specific set of products can help you.
I actually would have loaded her without the gills, but she loaded with them. In the shaping tab (smart content), there is an on and an off for the gills. Both leave those pure white streaks. I don't see any labels re geograft fix. I also can't find the gills geograft in the scenes tab (in order to try the surface copy/paste). Thanks for the ideas, and I may have overlooked something.
You might try contacting @ChangelingChick through the forum. She's fairly active, and she's one of the listed PAs on Thalia's page.
Maybe try unnfitting the tail and refitting it again. You should be able to select the gills using the right click while hovering over them in the viewport. Sorry if none of this helps.
Thank you, I will try both your suggestions. Will report back later, have stuff to do so can't play with Daz for a while.
Hellooo
The gills on/off are for the scalloped shape we did for them, not the gills themselves. Those are a part of the tail. I am working on a shape to dial them out though so folks can use Naia's gills on the neck if they prefer (those are a morph instead of a geograft). There was a UV change, and it looks like there might have been some confusion in the packing, (files were all named the same), so I'll check and make sure that was the issue, then get it updated asap if so. Sorry about this!
You're awesome. Thank you :)
I just came here to say that I did not know that the gills were a part of the tail geograft, since I don't have the tail. I made an assumption, and was wrong. Therefore none of my suggestions could have possibly ever helped. Sorry for any confusion.
It's all trial and error and I appreciate your ideas and advice. Thank you for taking the time to think about the issue and for throwing out solution ideas.
If this thread leads to a solution to be able to just use the tail and not the gills, I might actually pick up Coral 8
Also if you need to find the gills to play with the materials go to the "scene" tab and select the geo graft there, then you can get to the materials options.
This error was my fault, we have an update in the queue, hopefully available to you soon. Very sorry and thanks for letting us know.
Hi all-
I, too, am having the same issue... any word of an update/fix yet? Many thanks!
EDIT: Never mind! I found the "alternate gill UVs" option on the gill surface tab. That worked!
There should be an update in your DIMs now.
