Saving an object in SUBD format.

Whenever I convert an object to SubD (High Resolution) and save it, I have to re-convert it to SUBD every time it's loaded in subsequent sessions of DAZ 3D.
Why?
I don't remember this happening in the past. Is it just the latest version of DAZ Studio - 4.15.0.2 - that has this bug?

How are you saving?
Hi Richard,
I've tried saving the object as both a 'scene subset' and a 'full scene.'
In either case, when I shut-down DAZ Studio, and restart it, and then reload either the scene or subset, the object is no longer in SubD format.
I haven't had this problem in the past when I converted objects to SubD.
I just created a cylinder, Edit>Object>Geometry>Convert to SubD, File>save, close and restart DS, load saved scene - SubD was still applied. Which tool is acrtive?
After spending the last couple of days trouble-shooting, I made an interesting discovery.
When I start DAZ Studio, a Default Scene is loaded that contains my favorite lighting, landscape and skydome objects - most of which are hidden until I need them. They all reside in separate Groups for easy hiding/un-hiding. One of the Groups contains my favorite landscape mesh saved in Base resolution (non-SubD).
I created a new landscape from that original mesh, with different textures applied, a unique name, converted it to SubD, and saved it in a new Group as a Scene Subset.
When I launch DAZ Studio (automatically loading my default scene) and open the new version of the landscape mesh, it reverts to Base resolution - effectively ignoring the fact that it was saved as SubD.
If I convert the 'original' landscape mesh (embedded in the Default Scene) to SubD, only at that point will the new landscape correctly load in High resolution.
Have you heard of this behavior?
Perfectly logical. If DS has already loaded the items (without SubD), it uses the same assets when you load the items the second time.
