why dose my unassigned content always disappearing ?

ok why dose my unassigned content go away every time i install daz? i mean all the presets i've made
all the models and scenes just the smart content comes back , its not gone because i can open it from the file
menu but it stops making thumbnails and i have to navigate to the presets ? is this a just me problem or dose this happen to everyone?
is there something that is being saved that is telling it to forget this stuff, and not to find it again ?
